Yes, our website uses SSL, does not store credit card details, and all payments are handled by a secure, PCI compliant, third party.

Does the Whisky Shop NZ website use cookies?

Do I need to login to start shopping?
You can browse the site as much as you like without logging in, however you will need to register or sign in in order to make a purchase.

Is my privacy assured?
We use every means available to protect your sensitive information - that's why when you initially order from us, you will need to register as a customer. All your information is stored in compliance with the Privacy Act 1993.

Will I receive emails from you when I place an order?
When an order is placed it automatically generates an order confirmation email and a shipping information email. You may also receive a followup email. If you don't wish to hear from us again simply use the unsubscribe link at the bottom of the email. Your email address will be flagged and removed from all of our mailing lists. Future orders will only receive the order confirmation and shipping information emails.



Can I place an order without entering my credit card details on your site?
Yes we offer alternative payment options including account to account and Paypal

What payment methods can I use?
We accept Mastercard, Visa and American Express credit cards or you can choose to  make an account to account payment using Polipay We also accept Farmlands Cards.

I’m having problems processing my credit card.
Please check the information, card number, expiry date etc. carefully.
If all your details are entered correctly and you are still having problems, or your credit card has been declined, please contact your bank.
Some overseas banks, notably in the USA, do not permit credit cards to be used to purchase on foreign websites without prior clearance.

How do I use my Farmlands Card?
At checkout you will be offered the option to use your Farmlands card. Tick this option and on completion of the checkout process you will be given instructions on how to give us your card details. 

We will then contact Farmlands for an authorisation number and dispatch your goods. Your discount will be deducted from your invoice.

What is the Farmlands Shareholders Discount?
If you have a Farmlands card you will receive a 5% discount, deducted from your final invoice  

Ordering and Delivery

How do I use my discount coupon?
During the checkout process you will see a link on the right hand side for Gift Cards and discount codes - click and enter your coupon code into the box. Discounts will be applied immediately.

Can I send my order to a different address?
Yes, in the shopping cart you will get the option to enter a separate delivery address.

Can I leave a message or special instructions?

Yes. The shopping cart has a link to a box where you can leave gift messages or special instructions. 

If you miss this, forget or want to add instructions after your purchase, simply reply to your confirmation email and let us know what you require

When will I receive my order?
You should receive it within one or two days of completing your order. Rural Deliveries and far south customers should allow 1-2 extra days.

I want to send a gift, but do not want the invoice to be attached.
That’s fine. Invoices are emailed separately to the person placing the order. We do not send a copy with the order.

Do you ship to addresses outside New Zealand?

We only ship high value items by prior arrangement. Delivery by post cannot be guaranteed and the cost of a reputable international courier is often higher than the value of an average bottle. Please contact us for more information.

Do you gift wrap?

Yes. Your shopping cart contains a field for you to leave gift messages and special instructions.

Gift-wrapping is free for orders with a total value of $100 or more. A small charge of $3.50 is made for orders under $100. You can find $3.50 gift wrapping under Gifts-Other gifts and accessories or Gifts-Christmas Gifts and treats OR Go straight to Gift wrapping here
